3 NOMINATIONS for 2012 recipient.
The closing date for 2012 nominations was 31st july 2011.
There were 3 nominations put forward for the beneficiaries of the 2012 walk.
They were as follows:
National Autistic Society.
East Scarsdale Explorer Scouts
Whitwell Forward Community Group.
After an excellently attended meeting at the Whitwell Community Centre on Friday 16th September the group selected to be the recipient for 2012 was............
It was entirely UP TO YOU who got selected. There are procedures to follow. They can be found by clicking the link at the top of this page.
So, stop moaning about who gets what and help us in future by selecting your prefered option....bloody simple innit!
I would like to congratulate Paul Battiste and his team on their success. The 3 presentations were excellent. We would have been proud to be associated with any of the nominated groups. Indeed, I hope the 2 runners up come back in the future as they offer excellent services to the people of our area (Whitwell and beyond).
