Want To Walk

With every passing year it is getting more difficult to attract new walkers. We are only a small village event but, we have big ideas. We really do want to make a difference in the local community. The best way to do this is to involve as many people as we can from our immediate area.
However, it is our stated aim to attract walkers from new areas. We recognise that people from other areas of the country may want to take on the LSW challenge. Well, let me say this YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME. Indeed we would welcome you with open arms.

Our prime motive is to raise monies for local organisations so, please note, this is a sponsored event. The walk is always a minimum of 40 miles to be covered in 20 hours. We start walking at 4am - no matter where the start point is.
